I was fortunate to serve on the board of the Tucson section of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME).  During the late to early 90s the Tucson Section had the largest membership of all the local sections throughout the United States.    I served in a number of positions during the years I served on the board.  I've listed the various positions held below.  I've also included links to the Tucson Section SME-AIME website as well as to the websites to the national organizations.
